Ring of the Reeks Tour

The Ring of the Reeks tour offers you a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to explore the valleys, farmlands, lakes, and bogs that surround the McGillycuddy Reeks, Ireland’s highest mountain range. A unique rural Irish experience, this tour follows narrow, winding, single-track mountain roads, where the only cause of traffic jams is the local mountain sheep. The tour will carry you through several mountain passes, including the Gap of Dunloe with amazing landscapes, ruins and panoramic vistas along the way, for you and your camera to explore.

    • You’ll receive expert tuition, guidance, and tips on how to improve your photographs
    • A packed lunch, snacks and drinks are recommended, although we do make a couple of stops at shops and facilities during this tour
    • All locations on this tour are easily accessible using roads or paths directly from the minibus
    • For evening light and late finishing time, please book the later starting time!
