The Great Blasket Centre and Island

The Blasket Centre details the story of the people who lived on the Blasket Islands until their evacuation in 1953. The Centre re-opened on June 28th 2022 following a major refurbishment.

Cuas Na Neighe Walk

A marked cliffside walk from Clogher Strand to Cuas Na Neighe, with fabulous views over the rugged coastline to the Blasket Islands. An added bonus is to time this walk for when the Seapinks (thrift or Armeria maritima) are in flower during April and May.
