Hidden Peninsula Tour

The Hidden Peninsula tour uncovers the magical locations and sweeping vistas that can be found further away from the more established tourist routes to the north and east of the historical town of Dingle. As we travel through amazing scenery and landscape visiting a variety of interesting antiquities on The Dingle Peninsula, all you need to capture your own stunning images is a camera or phone of your choice, as expert advice on how to capture the perfect pictures is always on hand. Alternatively, you’re welcome to just sit back, relax and enjoy the tour, experiencing all the wonderful sights and locations we visit during this tour.

We leave Dingle, climbing nearly 1500ft or 500M to the Conor Pass, the highest hill pass in Ireland, where we stop and look south to take in outstanding views of Dingle, Doonshean, Kinard, Ventry, The Blasket Islands and The Iveragh Peninsula. Looking north we see The Owenmore Valley spread below us with its elaborate system of rivers and lakes, The Brandon Mountain range, Cloghane, Brandon, The Maharees, North Kerry and even further beyond to County Clare. Travelling smaller lanes and backroads, we visit many amazing places on the northern side of the Dingle Peninsula, before taking the Conor Pass back to Dingle for a lunch break.

During the afternoon we’ll head to the east of Dingle, taking in inspiring views, storm beaches and rugged coastline as well as visiting a number of historical sites and atmospheric ruins. Following narrow lanes wherever we can, we’ll return to Dingle following the ancient road.

This tour is specially designed for individuals and small groups, however if you want to guarantee your very own “Private Tour” please book all 6 seats and you’re then welcome to suggest your very own itinerary for any other locations you really wish to visit.
